Features
- The original Max Max Interceptor started as a 1973 XB GT Ford Falcon Coupe.
- This was a standard production model available in Australia from 1973 to 1976. Being a GT, it came standard with a 300bhp 351ci V8, 4V heads, top loader, 9 inch differential and the rest of the XB GT features.
- The most unique modification to the car is the fiberglass work. The "Concorde" front end, roof spoiler, rear decklid spoiler and the wheel flares were added to the stock car to create the Mad Max Interceptor. The side pipes and supercharger which protrudes through the hood were added to complete the menacing look.
- For the second Max Max Movie, The Road Warrior, the original car from the first movie was modified by the removal of the lower front spoiler and the addition of two large gas tanks in the back.
